Today, I would like to introduce to you a marvellous green bathroom system, created by a South Korean designer – Jang Woo-Seok. It is called Eco Bath system. It consists of a dual water-tank feature which has one primary goal – to recycle the water coming from the washbasin in the bathroom.
Not only does the design look very contemporary but it is also incredibly compact. The innovative system can be fitted in the tiniest bathroom space without any problems. It consists of two main parts – one for storing of grey water (which comes from the sink) and one for clean water.
What strikes me most is the simplicity of the device. It uses a regular water tank system, with two levers and a LED light on the left side. You can use the Eco Bath just like you would any other water tank, but when the LED shines in green, you can run the left tank and dispose of the grey water, stored in it.
Using grey water features has been open for public discussion for several years now. While some countries like the UK have been suffering the hosepipe ban in the summer, more and more home owners have been working on developing their own variations of a DIY grey water systems. With the issue of preserving the world’s water supplies, figuring out how to use every drop to its fullest becomes all the more important.
Going back to our green bathroom design at hand, I must admit that the design is not only environmentally-friendly but also very storage-smart. If you take a closer look at the design of the tank, you will notice that it provides a flat surface where you can place you bathroom accessories like shower gel, shampoo and etc. Underneath the feature, you can place other items. If you dislike them just lying on the floor, you can place a storage basket to enhance the décor.
As far as cleaning the unit goes, you can rest assured that there is nothing out of the ordinary that you need to know. Besides the regilar bathroom cleaning routine, you wouldn’t have to do anything else, comment domestic cleaners at Docklands who have already had to work around the new Eco Bath system.
As far as I am concerned – this design goes straight to my wish-list!
